William Rader & Convention Blueprints

Hi! I’m William Rader. All my life I’ve been determined to understand how to be successful and to pass on this knowledge to help people succeed with their lifelong passions. I teach entrepreneurs and producers how to make their conventions and events profitable (and insanely popular).

How did I get started?

Well, in 2009 I decided to become a professional magician (crazy, right?). I quickly learned that to make a living, I needed to produce my own theater shows to paying audiences. There were no courses or ebooks to help, so I learned mainly through trial and error (a lot of error).

Fast forward a few years to 2013. I was still a budding magician producing local shows, but I wasn’t happy with any of the box office management systems I was using to sell tickets. So, I decided to create my own ticketing software and founded WellAttended.

WellAttended is an easy way to sell tickets to events online, over the phone, and at the door. We have a lot of features that help our clients increase their revenue. My main goal with WellAttended is to help our clients be successful.

We do this through one-on-one consultations, free ebooks, and a weekly podcast where I interview artists, producers, and professional marketers to learn how to increase revenue and ticket sales. You can listen to a few episodes below!

Through WellAttended, free ebooks, a Facebook community, and a podcast, I’ve helped artists, producers, and entrepreneurs LIKE YOU sell more than $500,000 worth of tickets.

And if all that wasn’t enough, in 2015 I started a yearly magic convention called the Rocky Mountain Session. I invite the best magicians from around the world to partake in a three day convention that’s filled with lectures, shows, and an exhibit hall.

When I started the Rocky Mountain Session, I couldn’t find any information on how to produce and run a convention. So, I had to start from scratch and learn once again through trial and error. Over the past two years, I’ve logged all of my successes and failures and have created a course on how to produce a convention.

Due to a considerable amount of careful planning, my first convention was an overwhelming success. Not only did I surpass my goal of attendance, but I was able to make a profit! This allowed me to grow even more in the second year by increasing my advertising budget and hiring more presenters.

And now, I want to help you built your own profitable convention, too.

In fact, Convention Blueprints takes you step-by-step to show you how to produce a profitable convention your very first year.

If you already produce a convention, there are a ton of tips and tricks that will help you increase your attendance and increase your profits. This is the course I wish I had when I was first starting out. It would have saved me a ton of time, money, and frustration.

If you’re interested, you can learn more about producing conventions by reading the blog, our free ebooks, and listening to the podcast.

I also want to invite you to join my email list community. You’ll get access to my library with all of my free ebooks, worksheets, and templates. You’ll get invited to any free webinars I host (they’re pretty awesome).
